Which states have the highest optional vaccination rates for cats?

Clinics in Oklahoma are the most likely to apply the FeLV vaccine to cats, with an average vaccination rate of 94.7%.

– Vet clinics in Louisiana appear to be the second most likely to apply non-essential vaccinations to cats, applying the feline leukemia vaccine to an average of 82.9% of cats in each clinic.

– In direct contrast, vet clinics in New Jersey appear to have the lowest vaccination rate for feline leukemia in the US, vaccinating an average of only 9.3% of cats visiting their clinics.

8 of the top 10 states with the highest feline leukemia vaccination rates are in the South of the US: Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina.

And 6 of the 10 states with the lowest vaccination rates are in the Northeast: New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, and Connecticut.
