The shaking may be very distressing for you – especially if you feel you need to get to a vet, and you can’t get to one immediately.
Here’s a checklist that you can follow in case of an emergency.
If possible, place soft pillows or blankets around the cat.
Make sure there are no items in the area that can hurt your cat. Sharp or glass objects can be dangerous.
Turn down the lights, or draw the curtains to lower the light in the room
Call the vet and let them know what’s happening.
